Self  esteem

Self-esteem is the overall emotion evaluation of one’s self and the judgement of themselves, such as how they look from the outside, things they have done and who they are. People can either have a good self-esteem or a low self-esteem or a medium self-esteem which is ideal, having a high self-esteem includes having confidence within yourself. Having a low self-esteem on the other hand is for example believing that you are nothing not good enough for anyone and a waste of space, Low self-esteem has been shown to be correlated with a number of negative outcomes, such as depression (Silverstone, & Salsali, 2003). Sometimes the reason why people have such low self esteem is not because they do it to themselves but others are to blame for it, constantly putting the person down excluding them from groups or activities. Each person has a different way of showing their low esteem not everyone is the same  and acts the same as it each other and their behaviours can be completely different.
